✅ What happens when a patient confirms an appointment?

When a patient confirms their appointment through TurnUp (via app, email, or SMS), this confirmation is automatically synced with Dentally:

  • The appointment is marked as “Confirmed” in Dentally.

  • No confirmation email is sent by default (this may be subject to future updates).

❌ What happens when a patient cancels?

If a patient cancels an appointment through TurnUp:

  • The appointment is immediately cancelled in Dentally.

  • The patient receives a cancellation email (note: current design is still being improved).

  • A new automatic last-minute slot may be generated depending on waitlist availability.
