Last-Minute Gets Taken via TurnUp

When a patient claims a Last-Minute slot via TurnUp, several automated actions take place to keep Dentally in sync.

✅ What exactly happens?

• The placeholder appointment (TurnUp Patient) is automatically cancelled

• A new reservation is created with:

  • The correct patient

  • The correct practitioner

  • The exact duration and treatment

• The clinic receives an email with:

  • Patient name

  • Time slot

  • Practitioner details

🔁 Waitlist Update in Dentally

• The patient is removed from the waitlist
  (technically archived, since Dentally doesn't support hard delete)

• If the patient had a previously linked reservation:

  • That reservation is cancelled, as it's now rescheduled

✉️ Email Notification

The clinic is automatically notified via email with full details of the claimed Last-Minute slot.
