How to Make a Last-Minute (≤ Duration)
Maximize your appointment efficiency with intelligent scheduling
This feature reads the dummy appointment of “TurnUp LastMinute” from Exquise and creates a Last-Minute slot in TurnUp. The system will then automatically notify waitlisted patients who match the doctor and whose appointment duration fits the available time slot.
Even if the original time slot was 30 minutes, a 15-minute appointment can still be offered — making the most of your available time.
✅ How to Use It

Make sure Exquise is running and you're logged in.
TurnUp only works when Exquise is active and accessible.

Open the “TurnUp LastMinute” dummy appointment in Exquise
Ensure the following information is visible:-
Name
-
Date of Birth
-
(No phone number entered)
-
Appointment duration & doctor

Click the TurnUp icon in the system tray
Choose “Maak een Last-Minute (≤ duurtijd)” from the menu.

TurnUp will process the request
The icon will spin while checking the waitlist for:-
patients linked to the same doctor

matching appointment durations
-
🟢 On Success:
-
A Last-Minute slot is created in TurnUp.

Patients are notified via email.

The first to confirm gets the appointment.

You’ll receive a confirmation email.

🔁 Next Steps:

Delete both the dummy and original appointment in Exquise.

Create the new, earlier appointment for the confirmed patient.
❌ On Failure:
You’ll see an error message, e.g., “No patients available on the waitlist.”

⚠️ Note: This feature only works if the patient was already on the waitlist before the date of the Last-Minute slot.
