How does TurnUp help me get an appointment sooner?

When a dental practice creates a last-minute appointment, patients who are registered on the TurnUp waitlist may be eligible for that appointment.

You are eligible when the available appointment matches your scheduled appointment, for example:

• with the same dentist, and

• when the duration of your appointment fits within the available time slot.

If the last-minute appointment matches your profile, you will automatically receive a notification via email, SMS, or the TurnUp app (if you have downloaded it). In that notification, you can indicate with just a few clicks whether you want to accept the appointment.

If you are the first to confirm, you get the appointment and your original appointment is moved forward. If the time does not work for you or you choose not to confirm, your existing appointment remains unchanged.
