What if your practice isn’t live yet, but your patients are already informed?

Before the official go-live. If your practice isn’t officially live with TurnUp World yet, but communication to patients has already started, they can still download the mobile app in advance.

What does the patient see in the app?

As soon as a patient registers in the app, we automatically try to make their upcoming appointments visible.
This is based on:

  • Mobile phone number

  • Email address

  • Date of birth

  • Other possible identification fields

If these details match the information stored in the patient record within your software (such as DentAdmin or CareConnect), the appointments will be automatically loaded into the app.

What if an appointment isn’t visible?

If an appointment does not appear in the app, it’s usually due to one or more of the following reasons:

  • The phone number in the practice software doesn’t match the one used during registration.

  • An old or different phone number is listed in the patient record.

  • The email address is missing or incorrect.

  • The integration between TurnUp and the software isn’t active yet.

It’s therefore important that patient details are correct and up-to-date in the system.
If in doubt, patients can always contact your practice or TurnUp Support.

In the initial communication, everything is clearly explained via your practice’s usual email address. It covers:

  • What TurnUp is

  • How the app works

  • Where to find help if needed

  • When the official go-live will take place

This ensures transparency and maintains trust with your patients throughout the process.
